How to translate a website, on the worked example

Two worksheets, both arithmetic on figures you already have. The hreflang map takes your page count, your locales and the pages that exist in only some of them, and returns the tags each page carries, the entries the sitemaps hold, the return links that have to point back and the pairs a partial page cannot complete. The scope sheet takes your pages, your average word count, your rate and how much you intend to machine translate, and returns the words a person still has to touch and what they cost. Neither translates anything and neither recommends an agency.

The arithmetic runs on the figures you type. The tag rules the map applies are Google's own documented requirements for localized versions, linked where they are used.
