About Hreflangly
Hreflangly is a small piece of software for whoever owns a website in more than one language. It has two halves. The worksheets are free and do the arithmetic on the page: how many hreflang tags a set of pages and locales needs, how many entries the locale sitemaps carry, how many return links have to point back, and what translating the words comes to at your own rate once the machine-translated share is taken out. Hreflangly Pro is the record afterwards: one row per page per locale, with its status, its dates and what still has no translation, exportable at any time.
Why this site exists
This site exists because the hard part of a multilingual website is not the translating, which somebody else does well enough. It is that nobody can say which pages exist in which language, which are stale and which are missing the tags that make a search engine serve the right one. That is a record, and most sites keep it in a spreadsheet that stopped being true two releases ago. The worksheets size the problem for free; the paid half keeps the record.
